David J. Wilber, M.D., is an internationally renowned cardiologist who specializes in cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Wilber is the Director of the Cardiovascular Institute, Director of Cardiology and the George M. Eisenberg Professor of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. Dr. Wilber received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in 1977 and completed his residency in internal medicine at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in 1980. He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Michigan Hospitals in 1984 and a fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1986. His distinguished career includes faculty positions with Harvard Medical School, the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, the University of Michigan Medical School, Northwestern University Medical School and Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.
